The Spanish Film Festival returns to Colombia with its 2022 edition, in which five cities in the country will be able to enjoy 14 award-winning audiovisual samples at different international festivals. The event is organized by the Embassy of Spain in the country.
Under the slogan #NuevasMiradas, the event seeks to show through Spanish cinematography “Spanish cinematography, wealth, cultural diversity, modernity, dynamism and a sense of inclusion” which, according to the organizers, shows what It is the Spain of today.
The ninth Spanish Film Festival, which will address issues of gender diversity, will be shown until next Saturday, August 27, in the main cities of Colombia: Bogotá, Medellín, Cali, Barranquilla and Manizales.

As a novelty, this edition will have as a special guest the film director from Valencia (Spain), Adrián Silvestre, who will present his films “Mi Vacío y yo” and “Sedimentos”, which, according to the Embassy of the Iberian country, explores “the limits between reality and fiction”.
The Show, which was curated by the director and founder of the Biff (Bogotá International Film Festival), Andrés Bayona, and by Luis Felipe Raguá, programming coordinator, will be available in the main cities of the country as follows.
