Today, Friday, August 19, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. m., at the House of Culture of Chiclayo, Lambayeque region, the film “Memorias” is premiered, based on the poem by Leyser Gonzáles Chumacero. The film project was directed by Héctor Marreros Vásquez and Chiclayo actors participated.
Leyser Gonzáles, graduated from the classrooms of the Pedro Ruíz Gallo National University (UNPRG), ventured into literature and now his winning poem of the Huauco de Oro 2022 national contest, turns it into a film adapted and directed by Héctor Marreros, renowned filmmaker of Peru, for having more than 22 films.
Admission to the event is free, the actors from Chiclayo, Vilma García, Pilar Sosa, José Ventrura, Lizeth Anaya, Eugenio Muñoz, Magarita Méndez and the poet Leyser Gonzáles himself will be present at the premiere of “Memorias” and details of a new casting.
On the other hand, it was known that on August 27, at 7:00 p.m. m., at the Casino de Pimentel, the film “Memorias” will be projected. It was also reported that two new productions are being filmed in Pimentel and that actors and actresses are being called exclusively from the Lambayeque region.
It should be noted that the films “El Vate”, “El Borracho”, Mi casita es Navidad” by the poet Juan José Borja and “El Narrador” (short story) by Manuel Barba, are short films that were also produced in Chiclayo and were made in the time of the pandemic, which were successfully presented at different international film festivals and poetic meetings virtually.
